RIDGE COVERS
We’ve had a lovely long run of great weather this year, however, with winter coming on the wet weather will be here before you know it. Make sure you have some Ridge Covers in your tool kit so you are able to protect your bedding and pointing from being washed away in a downpour.
WIREROPES
When you purchase a wirerope for your Hytile Cable Hoist, the cheapest is not the best. While most may look the same, the quality can vary a great deal. A cheap wirerope will not only wear quicker, it will also stretch more, and when it stretches it loses some of its grip around the drivewheel. This will shorten the effective working drive of your drivewheel as well as your wirerope.
ROOF TILING APPRENTICE AWARD NIGHT
Gary, Peter and Julie from Hytile attended NMIT’s recent apprentice award evening. All graduating Roof Tile apprentices received goods supplied by the evening’s sponsors – Hytile, Roof Fixing Supplies and C.S.R. Roofing.
Along with the Roof Tile Association of Australia, these same sponsors also supplied the major awards for the evening to the Roof Tile Apprentice of the Year, and the two Runners-Up. A great night was had by all.
